Knysna - Night 4

On Bianca's recommendation, we took a cab down to the Knysna waterfront for dinner at JJ's. The meal was absolutely outstanding and only outdone by the owner, Justin (one of the J's) - who bounced from table to table telling jokes and stories and sending around complimentary glasses of wine and sherry. Justin and Jen seemed like kindred spirits.


In keeping with their tradition, we signed the bottle of wine that we drank and then Justin put it up in the rafters, which were specially drilled to hold probably 1,000 bottles. Justin said that a bottle will last six months or so, but that he keeps books of all the labels people have made.



Before Justin "dismissed" us for the evening, he ran up and grabbed the restaurant's ordering list from the day before and on the back drew out a "map" of what we should do for the rest of our stay in Knysna.

Now we're heading to breakfast downstairs at Villa Afrikana and then we'll get started on Justin's map.
